Clinical Presentation
A 60-year-old male presents to the Emergency Department following an acute mechanical injury, complaining of severe pain, deformity, and restricted joint movement.
- 1Intraarticular fracture of 1st metacarpal base is seen
- 2A small fragment is attached to articulation with trapezium
- 3Rest of the bone shows proximal migration due to pull by abductor pollicis longus.
