Clinical Presentation
30 year old woman fell of a push-bike onto the left elbow.
- 1X-rays of the left elbow demonstrate a prominentanterior fatpad (sail sign) with theposterior fat padalso visible
- 2This is consistent with a large joint effusion.No definite fracture can be seen, although the radial head appears a little ill-defined laterally
- 3This is the most common site of fracture in this scenario
- 4Note the thin ill-definedsclerotic lineacross the neck of the radius.
