Clinical Presentation
Elderly lady with infective endocarditis. Post insertion of PICC line for parenteral antibiotics.
- 1PICC line tip is projected over the right atrium (too far).
- 2Inferior subluxation of the right humeral head.
- 3An ill-defined region of lucency in the inferomedial aspect of the humeral head.
- 4Apparent bony fragmentation seen within the glenohumeral joint space.
